Supervisors of Hazardous Waste Operations

Benefits
In addition to the 40 hours of initial off-site health and safety instruction for all employees involved in hazardous waste operations, OSHA requires at least 8 hours of specialized training for supervisors. This course satisfies OSHA requirements under 29 CFR 1910.120. Participants gain knowledge in: management of personal protective equipment programs; development of health and safety plans; supervisory skills, including management style and effective communication.

Audience
Private and public sector managers and supervisors directly responsible for, or who supervise employees engaged in hazardous waste operations.

Copy of 40-hour certificate. Two passport size photos. Please bring with you a government issued photo ID. We will accept driver's licenses, passports, birth certificates, state and federal worker IDs, and university and school issued IDs. Please see our "cancellation policy" if you are unable to attend this course.
