OSHA 502 Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers [Zoom]

Audience:

Who Should Take This Course?
This 3-day course is for private-sector employees who:
• Have already completed the OSHA #500 Trainer Course for the Construction Industry.
• Are current OSHA Outreach Trainers in good standing.

The course provides updates on OSHA construction standards and OSHA policies.

Prerequisites:
Your registration is currently incomplete because Rutgers still needs proof of your current Construction Industry Outreach Trainer status. There is no grace period for renewing your OSHA Outreach Trainer certification.

How to Register:
1. Scroll to the bottom of the registration page and click “ENROLL YOURSELF.”
2. Go to http://go.rutgers.edu/trainerupdate and upload photos of the front and back of your current (unexpired) Construction Industry Outreach Trainer card.
3. Download, complete, and submit the required Appendix A form.

Exclusions:
Your registration is not complete until:
1. Both steps above have been completed.
2. Your authorization is valid on DAY 1 of the class.
3. You are an outreach trainer in good standing who is not suspended, revoked, or under investigation.

What to Bring to Class:
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Accepted forms of ID include:
• Driver’s license
• Passport
• Birth certificate
• State or federal employee ID
• School or university ID
