OSHA 3095 Electrical Standards [Hybrid]

This course is designed to provide the student with a survey of OSHA's electrical standards and the hazards associated with electrical installations and equipment. Topics include single- and three-phase systems, cord- and plug-connected and fixed equipment, grounding, ground fault circuit interrupters, and safety-related work practices. Emphasis is placed on electrical hazard recognition and OSHA inspection procedures. Hands-on training is provided using various types of electrical test equipment. (4 days)
Notes:
This is a four-day hybrid course. The first two days are presented virtually in real-time through Zoom. Students must attend the final two days in-person at SPH- CPHWD, 300 Atrium Drive, Somerset, New Jersey, for the practicum. The OTI Education Center courses (OSHA # courses) are to be completed in the region the student lives/works (virtual or in-person).
