Features:
Paul A. Offit, MD from the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine & the Vaccine Education Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Offit is a pediatrician specializing in infectious diseases and an expert on vaccines, immunology, and virology. He is the co-inventor of a rotavirus vaccine that has been credited with saving hundreds of lives every day. Robert A. Bednarczyk, PhD is an Assistant Professor of the Hubert Department of Global Health and Department of Epidemiology at Rollins School of Public Health and a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Dr. Bednarczyk's research focus is in the prevention of cervical cancer and other human papillomavirus related diseases through the use of HPV vaccination. In addition, exciting breakout sessions will highlight innovative approaches for community, hospital, and clinic-based practices.
