Course Director: Frank Wartinger, Au.D., ABAC. This course is designed to train the student in the administrative, technical and practical aspects of an industrial hearing conservation program. The course combines tutorial discussions with practical applications, and meets the requirements for certification from the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Certification must be renewed every 5 years. Students must pass an exam with 70% or better to receive a certificate of course completion and CAOHC certification.

Notes:
This course is Offered through Zoom Virtual Learning Platform. The cost of this course includes your CAOHC certification fee. This will be submitted to CAOHC on your behalf upon successful completion of the course. Please bring with you a government issued photo ID. We will accept driver's licenses, passports, birth certificates, state and federal worker IDs, and university and school issued IDs. Please see our "cancellation policy" if you are unable to attend this course.

Students must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the course date in order to be considered enrolled and to receive the course materials. Any student who needs to cancel within 4 weeks of the course start date can either transfer to another available date or receive a refund of the course fee minus the cost of materials ($115). Students who choose to transfer to a later date will keep their course materials to be used at the new date or otherwise will need to pay an additional fee for a new shipment.
