This class is designed to increase participant knowledge of techniques used for monitoring, remediating, and managing contaminated sites. Students will have an opportunity to review federal regulatory frameworks: safe drinking water act (SDWA), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), and the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and identify how they fit into managing remediation technologies.

Facility personnel who oversee monitoring and remediating at contaminated sites.

Required Materials:
Pre-requisites: Recommend completing the 40-hr Hazardous Waste Operations course (not mandatory).
