Centers for Education and Training - School of Public Health is proud to announce the first graduates of the Safety Manager Specialist Certificate Program. Congratulations to Martha Hernandez, Richard Salorio, David Sodbinow, and Robert Mohammed (pictured above).
Program Overview
The certification program is intended to give the health and safety professional comprehensive knowledge of workplace hazards and an understanding of OSHA regulatory standards. These practical courses help students immediately apply what they have learned.
Courses required for completion of this certificate include:
OSHA 7205: Health Hazard Awareness
OSHA 7845: Record-keeping
OSHA 7105: Introduction to Evacuation and Emergency Response
OSHA 7505 Accident Investigation
OSHA 7500: Introduction to Safety and Health Management
The Safety Manager Specialist Certificate Program
will be offered again in April of 2009.
