On October 1, 2008, The Office of Public Heath Practice celebrated John Malool's 20 years of service at the university.  John is the founding Course Director for UMDNJ's  HAZMAT Program and an instructor in the Region II Atlantic OSHA Training Center.  In addition to his teaching responsibilities at UMDNJ, John is also an Auxiliary Officer with the US Coast Guard and the Chief of the Ridgfield Park, New Jersey, Fire Department.  Prior to joining UMDNJ, John worked for the US EPA, municipal government, and private industry.
