Best Practices 2019
Musculoskeletal injuries are of major concern for healthcare workers. These injuries are due in large part to overexertion related to repeated manual patient handling activities, often involving heavy manual lifting associated with transferring and repositioning patients, and working in extremely awkward postures.
Workers performing patient handling tasks will benefit from this conference. Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Healthcare workers, Direct Support Professionals, Industrial Hygienists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Radiologists, Sonographers, Emergency Medical Service, Hospital Aides, Acute Care and Long Term Care.
