“The Tobacco Epidemic 2011 - Agent, Vector, Host, Environment”
This seminar will review the epidemiology of the leading cause of preventable death in our society, tobacco use. Topics will include discussion of the current prevalence of tobacco use, various forms of tobacco products, influence of the tobacco industry, the harms of tobacco use, including environmental exposure, and benefits of tobacco cessation.
